Urgent care can handle the broken bones that happen most of the time; you know, the kind that requires a splint or a cast. Urgent care clinics can handle issues that require attention but are not life-threatening.
 
Urgent care clinics are also good at diagnosing and treating strep throat and similar infections because most will have lab equipment that can get results quickly.
